hearing that makes me so happy, thank you!! even though i still have a lot to learn, since it’s a completely new medium to me, i definitely enjoy making pixel stuff. it’s less tedious than i’d expected. :D

occasionally i indulge myself by thinking about a fighting game with my characters in it.

sven’s story mode would be about him trying to find out what happened to his brother, who suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth, presumed dead. as the story goes on, sven falls deep into depression and lets the symbiotic parasite that lives in his veins take over. needless to say the parasite is handy in combat, sven isn’t much of a fighter.

this is far from being done, i would want to add movement to the character, but that’ll take a lot of time.

i feel like this is a very serious issue, this artist, nicknamed A-KA has made tons of very gorgeous gorillaz fanarts on their pixiv site. people then repost these drawings on tumblr, where they get a shitton of notes. DID YOU KNOW THAT THE ARTIST DISLIKES IT WHEN YOU DO THAT? so much that they put this disclaimer on some of their sketch dumps.

many people source their art to pixiv, but ignoring the artist’s wishes is so rude i can’t even believe it. if you like the art on pixiv, you can make an account there and bookmark their works! no need to repost them on tumblr.
